We’re proud to announce another fantastic partnership for this academic year with home improvement retailer Wickes!
Selected schools in the UK have been given access to a wellbeing challenge which tasks students with identifying a disued space within their school or local community and consider how this space could be re-imagined using Wickes products to promote inclusivity and physical, mental or emotional wellbeing.
With a National Finals event at Wickes HQ in November, students are busy working on their ideas whilst developing the key skills for their future careers.
Louise Tait, HR Director at Wickes said, “We’re proud to announce our partnership with The Inspirational Learning Group, a collaboration highlighting Wickes commitment to support young talent. This national school challenge reflects our dedication to community engagement and education, offering students a valuable opportunity to develop their skills and gain insight into future career paths. As HR Director, I’m excited to support an initiative empowering young people to make informed choices about their futures, contributing to fostering a skilled and confident generation“.
Ben Dyer, co-founder of The Inspirational Learning Group added, “We are delighted to be working with Wickes on such an important topic and exciting challenge. We would also like to thank Wickes’s Store Managers and colleagues who are in attendance during these delivery sessions, supporting our team and providing the students with the opportunity to gain real-life business knowledge“.
