Air Products announce 3 year deal with The National Careers Challenge

Following a successful 5 year relationship with Air Products, we are pleased to announce that the industrial gases company wil be sponsoring The National Careers Challenge – Year 7 for an additional 3 years.

Since the start of the 2019 academic year, Air Products has sponsored The National Careers Challenge for Year 7 students.  The relationship has seen thousands of students engaging with the challenge and developing the skills required to make informed decisions about their futures.

From utilising no longer required air canisters to creating marketing campaigns to promote the use of hydrogen for fuel, the Air Products Year 7 challenge has been excellently recieved in schools across the country for 5 years. The new deal will ensure that students will have the unique opportunity to engage with the world’s largest hydrogen supplier, with Air Products keen to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation.

Last academic year, in addition to The National Careers Challenge, 10 schools in Immingham and the surrounding areas took part in a new delivery project with Air Products, enabling young people to learn more about Air Product’s plans for a large-scale renewable hydrogen facility. The Inspirational Learning Group is delighted to continue this additional project with Air Products, which will see students discussing the skillsrequired for their world of work, with interview skills and apprenticeship opportunities with local provider, CATCH.
