The Stocks and Shares Challenge
Financial literacy is one of the most challenging concepts to teach to young people, but also one of the most important.
This practical and exciting programme, which simulates a real stock trading environment, will see students create their own wealth management company, identify a specific investment strategy and monitor a series of news reports to identify emerging trends on the stock market.
In this full-day programme, teams will be allocated £10,000 to invest in fictional shares – but must spend their money wisely. The aim is for teams to finish the challenge with as much profit as possible, but students must also reflect on the effectiveness of their chosen strategy.
